How long can a script be?
Up to 5,000 characters per request. For longer reads, split the script into parts or switch to Eleven Flash v2.5, which takes up to 20,000.
Which audio tags work?
Delivery and emotion tags such as [whispers], [laughs], [sighs], [excited], [sarcastic] and [shouting], plus accent tags like [strong British accent]. Put the tag right before the words it should colour. Eleven Flash v2.5 does not perform tags.
How much does it cost?
2 credits per 1,000 characters. The composer shows the price before you generate.
Can I use a voice of my own?
Yes: describe one with Eleven Voice Design and save it to your account. Voices you design are visible only to you.
Can I generate speech from Claude or ChatGPT?
