What changed from Eleven v3?
A new architecture: more natural emotion and pacing, more accurate voice clones, 85 languages instead of 70, and up to 10,000 characters per request instead of 5,000. The price per character stays the same.
What is Eleven v4 Turbo?
The faster, half-price version of v4 with the same languages and audio tags. On Mira it powers the quick speech mode: 1 credit per 1,000 characters, and texts up to 20,000 characters.
How do I add a pause?
End the sentence, use an ellipsis or start a new line. v4 ignores SSML such as <break>, so it will not pause on those tags.
How much does it cost?
2 credits per 1,000 characters. The composer shows the price before you generate.
Can I generate speech from Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Connect the Mira MCP server and ask for a voiceover: the assistant calls generate_audio with model v4 or turbo and spends your Mira credits.
Can I use my own voice?
Yes: clone your own voice on the website by reading a consent phrase and eight short lines, or design one from a description. Your voices are visible only to you.
